Yi-Lan is a place that made by water..
just like women.

it does not raining often,
only rain 4 times in last 6 month,
according to local residents,
but this rain last more than 3 weeks and still raining at this moment.





Just riding with my sailor allweather proof gear,
plus bamboo leaf hat can  water proof better than bike hamlet..
left the bike hamlet in the store  and pickup when return.

another hours to Tai-Ping entrance  ...









rain tapped off here..
at 1112 am...
and  taiping resort hotel closed down for new year eve at 3pm..
ranger at office told me there are 23km to go and all uphill,
suggests me return and dont waste $200NT entrance fee..
I tell him I will be resort at 1pm...
and
I come here for the famous steep hill route,2...


used 1.5 hours already and still have 15 km 2 go..


well, after I arrived resort at 2:45pm and all the staffs are busy closing down even the grocery shop,
I am out of the water and foods..
one of front desk gentleman gave me a cup of hot water, 6 smell bags of snack and one orange...
it's raining harder and freeze cool,2...
I am all wet from sweat  not the rain water...





I asked bus driver if I can  hit-chat  his bus back down the mountain due to slippery road ...
he asked how I get up here..
I told him paddle bike all the way up ..
he let me ride to  the 1st photo gas station with  free fare...

he said it's rare 2 c a crazy old guy biking up the mountain alone in a cold raining day...

YUAN let us meet 2gether so free  fare ..

it's tough cycling trip..
but half-ass,2
